Pauline Smathers

Pauline Smathers, 85, born February 4, 1940 went home to be with the Lord November 29, 2025 in her born county, Jackson.

She is preceded in death by husband Bobby Smathers and son Tim, along with mother Lorise Long and three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by sisters Phyllis Kisser and Rachel Oliver(Coleman). Children Kathy, Bobby (Myra), Kevin (April). Grandchildren Amy, Jonathan (Peyton), Josh, Caleb (Anna), Lydia (Austin) and four great-grandchildren Kailey, Harmony, Andrew, and Tanner. Along with many loved nieces and nephews.

A small viewing was held for immediate family per her request. Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva has charge of the arrangements
