Sylva - Peggy Jo Cabe Fouts, 83, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at her residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Delsia Cochran Cabe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Mose Fouts, who died in 2016. Peggy was a lifelong member of Wesleyanna Methodist Church in the Savannah Community.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Mills and her husband, Jeff, of Sylva and Patricia Talley, also of Sylva; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

At this time no services are planned.

Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva is in charge of the arrangements.
