Randall C. Hooper

Cullowhee - Randall Clayton Hooper, 76, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Randall was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County and a son of the late Robert Clayton and Juna Dean Hooper. He loved working on vehicles and watching NASCAR. Randall almost lived and breathed being an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, LaRae Anders Hooper; one son, Andy Clayton Hooper; a sister, Judy Hooper Powell; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Hoopers Cemetery in Cullowhee with the Reverend Mike Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva.
