Rebecca Jane Wilson

Rebecca (Becky) Jane Wilson, age 90, of Sylva, NC passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 . She was the wife of the late Conrad Clayton Wilson and the daughter of the late Albert Aaron and Mary Elizabeth Lineberger Alexander. 

She was a member of Sylva First Presbyterian Church. She was retired as a registered nurse, having worked in hospitals and medical offices in Gastonia, NC, Robstown, TX and Sylva, NC. She served for several years on the Board for United Christian Minstries of Jackson County and volunteered at the Hospital Auxiliary. Becky enjoyed traveling and thoroughly enjoyed playing canasta with her friends.  

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings: Thomas William, John Aaron, Minerva, and Charles Ray Alexander and Eva Mae Green. She is survived by several nephews and nieces. 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva with Rev. Blake Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Greens Creek Cemetery.
