Robert Lee Blackwell, 88 , of Dillsboro, passed away on Good Friday April 7, 2023
A native of Jackson County he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Sally Shuler Blackwell
He worked at Michigan Bell Telephone Company for 30 years before retiring and moving back to Dillsboro
Robert was a Member of Old Savannah Baptist Church
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son Dennis Lee Blackwell and a brother; Eugene Blackwell
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Marilyn Bailey Blackwell
Daughter; Susan Lynn Blackwell of Dillsboro

A Graveside Service will be held 2PM Tuesday April 11, 2023 at Long Branch Cemetery with the Rev. Austin Frady officiating.
