Robert “Bob” Cunningham

Robert “Bob” Cunningham, a native and lifelong resident of Sylva, Passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was born August 27th, 1940.

He is preceded in death by his father, Weaver Cunningham. His Mother, Bonnie Cunningham. His three Brothers: Tom Cunningham, Jim Cunningham and Mike Cunningham.  And his sisters: Linda Nyder, Mary Sue Gulino and Shirly Ashe.

Bob is survived by his life partner Pat Cunningham Hoyle, his five Children, Regina Cowan, Robert Cunningham, Cheryl Owen (Shane), Donna Cunningham McDonald, Danny Cunningham and Ginger Robbins (David).

Bob is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren.  

Bob will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation service will be held for Bob on Friday March 29, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm at Appalachian Funeral services in Sylva NC.
