Robert Lee Mathis

Mr. Robert Lee Mathis 63 passed away on Monday June 10th. Born on October 7, 1955 to the late Elbert and Inez Mathis, he was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. A half-brother, Tom Mills also preceded him in death.
Robert is survived by his wife Kathy and one son, Travis D. Mathis. Also surviving are a grandson, Lane Mathis; one sister, Patsy (Sam) Tucker; and one brother, Ron Mathis.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Tim Mathis officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
