Roger Wayne Burrell

Roger Wayne Burrell, 84, of Sylva, NC, passed away at his home on January 25th, where he was surrounded by his family. Born in 1941 in Franklin, NC, he married Gloria Gass in 1963. Together, they had two children, Tim Burrell (Annie) and Tammy Atkinson (Matt). Wayne had three grandchildren, Chelsa Burrell, Lauren Atkinson, and Joshua Atkinson, and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Caleb, and Evelyn.

Wayne was a member of Lovedale Baptist Church. He loved watching sports and spent his life providing for and loving his family. He will be missed greatly.
