Rosalyn Savage

Rosalyn Savage, 82, of Sylva, North Carolina went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 9, 2025 after a long journey with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Ros as she was affectionally known was born on March 2, 1943 in Auburndale, Florida. Ros was the daughter of William Lester and Rubye M. Sheffield.

Ros worked as a Social Worker in both Florida and North Carolina. Ros had a beautiful smile and she shared that with the families that she impacted.

Ros was a caregiver to her mom for several years while her mom lived with her in Sylva.

Ros’ faith remained strong despite her difficult circumstances. Ros continued to praise her Savior Jesus Christ every day.

Thank you to the staff at Morningstar Assisted Living in Sylva, Grandview Manor Care Center in Franklin and Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care who loved and cared for Ros. Thank you also to all the friends who took the time to be a part of Ros’ journey.
