Ruth Hall Ashe

Ruth Hall Ashe, 95, of Sylva NC passed away on September 2, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Ashe; daughter, Brenda Poole; brother, William Hampton Hall; and sister, Carol Ann Calhoun.

Ruth and Ray resided in Burlington NC during their working years and returned to Sylva upon retirement. They enjoyed many years in their mountain retreat in the East Fork Community. Ruth was a member of East Fork Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Saviano (John); and great grandchildren.
