Sharon Haggard Myers

Sharon Haggard Myers passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Miami, Florida, she spent over 60 years residing in Sylva, North Carolina.

Professionally, Sharon worked as a real estate agent, property manager and paralegal, contributing to all fields with consistency and dedication. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Myers, who passed away in 2021.

She is survived by her daughters, Teneile Pickett of Asheville, NC, and Denene Dowling of Myrtle Beach, SC; sons-in-laws Scott and Matt; and grandchildren Emory, Kenyon, and Sage.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte NC where her daughter Denene received life saving care to beat Breast Cancer 8 years ago.
