Shelbia Jean Jacobs

Shelbia Jean Jacobs, 81, of Morristown, TN., formerly of Sylva, passed away Wednesday morning October 26, 2022.
Born and raised in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lora Justice.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed more than anything else spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a Member of Grace Point Baptist Church in Talbott, TN and was a big Tennessee Volunteer fan. 
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by son Curtis Frank Jacobs and her brother; Charles Justice.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years; Robert Frank Jacobs
Her son; Tim (Sharon) Jacobs of Morristown, TN
Her daughter; Kristi (Adam) Conn of Morristown, TN
4 Grandchildren; Rob Jacobs, Logan Conn, Joey Durigon (Tiffany Golden) and Charlotte Conn
3 Great Grandchildren; Aiden Jacobs, Audriana Durigon and Jordan Winstead
Her sister; Dinah Youngdeer of Cherokee, NC
Special Sister-in-law; Faye (Mike) Deitz of Sylva
Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday October 30, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Carlos Owenby officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hooper Cemetery in Brasstown.
