Steven Clayton Staffelbach

Steven "Staff" Clayton Staffelbach, 64, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at his residence.

He was born on February 10, 1961 to Linda Clayton Staffelbach and the late Jackie H Staffelbach. Steven enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing corn hole, and watching college football. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his wife.

In addition to his mother, Steven is survived by his wife of 18 years, Janet "Jan" Franks Staffelbach; a son, Travis J Staffelbach; daughter, Jennifer Childs (David); step-daughters, Shanna Gilmer (Rob), and Stephanie Stoneburner (Dan); eight grandchildren; sister, Teresa Staffelbach; brothers, Bob Staffelbach (Rita), Jack Staffelbach (Amanda), and Keith Staffelbach ( Nancy); and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services. Rev. Eddie Stillwell will be officiating. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
