Thomas Allen Blakely

Thomas Allen Blakley, 75, of Sylva, passed away Tuesday morning October 25, 2016. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County he was the son of the late Wilson Blakley and Genevea Bryson. Thomas retired from Western Carolina University and he enjoyed fishing and squirrel hunting. He is survived by 2 daughters- Lucille Blakley of Cullowhee and Leslie Blakley of Sylva 1 Brother- William Coward of Sylva 1 Aunt- Ida Bryson of Sylva 7 Grandchildren- Derrick, Deahnie, Tasia, Alexis, Devin, Remello, Trevon 3 Great Grandchildren- James, Haden, Bryden Several nieces and nephews also survive A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday November 5 at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev.
