Thomas Vincent Crisp

Thomas Vincent Crisp, age 97 of Balsam NC, passed away on Tuesday May 23, 2023.   He was born on May 12, 1926, in Jackson County, to the late Lonnie & Lucy Smith Crisp.

Tom was an avid fisherman.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Helen Bradley Crisp; children, Anita Kay Salstrom, DeWayne Michael (Linda) Crisp, Cindy Crisp; brother, Vaughn Crisp; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM– 2:00PM on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Balsam Missionary Baptist Church, 105 Heavenly Dr, Sylva, NC, with a Funeral Service at 2:00PM. Revs. Greg Cullen and Lee Brooks, officiating.  Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.
