Travis Isreal Cook

Travis Isreal Cook, 47, passed away on March 31,2026. Born March 27,1979 in Jackson county NC, Travis lived a life marked by his presence, his experiences, and the connections he made with those around him. 

He will be remembered for the selfless act of organ donation, he saved three lives. Travis' life, though cut short, was one that touched many. The greatest role in his life was being a father to Gabriel Ryan Cook. Travis loved hunting and fishing. He mastered everything he set his mind too. 

He leaves behind his son, Gabriel Ryan Cook; father, Kim Cook; sister, Melissa Glance; brother-in-law, Terry Glance; his nephew who was more of a son, Ethen Cook; niece, Ashli Holloway; her husband, Daniel Holloway; two great nieces and two great nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Jean Cook and his niece Gracie Cook. Travis will forever live on thru his son Gabriel Cook and his nephew Ethen Cook......keep chasing Big Foot.
