Vance Nations, 75, of Sylva, passed away Sunday April 30, 2023
A Native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Harley and Hester Nations
Vance's Joy in Life was getting to spend time with his family, especially his grand kids.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Libby, and his siblings; Hilda, Verma, Ray, Opal, Frances, Willard, Hayes and EJ.
He is survived by 2 daughters;

                                                     Millie (Richard) Wood of Webster
Grandchildren;    Jennifer (Teddy) Peterson of Bryson City
                              Jessica Bryson of Sylva
                              Trevor Wood of Sylva
                              Madison Wood of Sylva

 Brother; Eugene Nations of Canton, GA
Sister-in-law;  Doris Nations 

A Private Family burial will be held at Hensley Cemetery in Whittier, NC
