Walter Mark Bradley

Walter “Mark” Bradley, 70, passed away at his home in Waynesville NC on October 11, 2026. He was the son of Walter Ray and Joanne Bradley of Sylva NC.

Mark is survived by his parents, 2 sisters Amanda and Lois, 2 brothers Pete and John, 6 nephews, 1 niece, 2 grandnephews, and 2 grandnieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter and Ruth Bradley and Bill and Carrie Wilson, his beloved grandnephew Treyson Bradley, and his beloved first cousin Kathleen Stewart.

Mark graduated from Sylva-Webster High School in Sylva NC in 1974 and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a degree in Business Administration in 1979.

He worked as a consultant for companies in Asheville NC, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and Virginia. He ended his career when he retired as a Federal consultant for the Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia at the end of 2021.

Mark then moved back to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina to be closer to his beloved family.

Per Mark’s wishes, a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
