Wanda Freeman Buchanan

Wanda Merrill Buchanan, Born September 23, 1940, went to her heavenly home on March 20, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Vonroe and May Parris Freeman.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles Buchanan, daughter Andrea (Cameron) Cochran, and three grandchildren, Anna, Kaitlyn, and Bryce. She is also survived by four sisters, Sue Dillard, Linda (Lewis) Nicholson, Reva (Bill) Terrell, and Rita (Jimmy) Perkins, two nephews, two nieces, and ten great nieces and nephews.  
Wanda retired from the phone company after many years and worked part time at Roses.  The family will receive friends at Buff Creek Baptist Church in Sylva from 1:00 – 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 26th and the funeral will follow.  Interment will be at the Addie Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Buff Creek Baptist Church.
