Wilhelmina Lou Biddix

Wilhelmina Lou Biddix, age 67, of Sylva, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the Rev. Lyndon Biddix and the daughter of the late John B. and Missouri Johnson.

A longtime member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, she was a devoted Christian lady who constantly prayed for her family. She dearly loved her family and was so proud of her children, grandchildren and great children.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by seven siblings; John Rae Johnson, Billy Johnson, Burnelle Johnson, Ben Johnson, TA Johnson, Dixie McChone, and Hampton Johnson.

Wilhelmina is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rev. Lyndon Biddix, two sons; Timmy Biddix and Tommy (Tonia) Biddix, and one daughter; Misty (Ricky) Berry. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; Aaron Biddix, Michelle (Logan) McClure, Jeremiah (Faith) Biddix, Brooke Biddix, Morgan (Triston) Broderick, Dustin Biddix, Hannah Biddix, Emily (Dustin) Milligan, and Nathan Berry as well as 16 great grandchildren. Three sisters; Patsy Allen, Mary Holland, and Wanda Donaldson also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 7, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12:00 until 2:00 pm.

Aaron Biddix will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Jeremiah Biddix, Dustin Biddix, Nathan Berry, Logan McClure, Ricky Shelton, Dustin Milligan, Triston Broderick, and Josh Hoyle will serve as pallbearers.
